Strategy & Operations Associate

Uber Uber · Consumer · New York, NY +1 · Operations

This role is for a Strategy & Operations Associate on Uber's Global Membership and Loyalty team. The associate will be the single-threaded operational leader of key strategic verticals, responsible for identifying opportunities, defining roadmaps, and executing initiatives using data-driven insights. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a focus on driving business outcomes and providing executive visibility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own a Strategic Pillar End-to-End: Take complete ownership of a dedicated operational vertical, driving strategy, execution, and business outcomes.
  2. Operate with Autonomy: Proactively identify business gaps, formulate strong points of view, and build actionable strategies without needing a predefined roadmap or step-by-step instructions.
  3. Execute Data-Driven Initiatives: Extract, synthesize, and leverage data to build business cases and “will” your initiatives into existence.
  4. Drive Cross-Functional Action: Navigate ambiguity to rally stakeholders and drive projects forward effectively.
  5. Provide Executive Visibility: Independently manage highly visible recurring processes and lead executive-level reporting cadences (MBRs/QBRs) to give leadership clear, high-level oversight of your pillar's performance.
