DoorDash is seeking a Strategy & Operations Manager for their Ads & Promotions Monetization team. This role will focus on building scalable monetization systems and driving business outcomes within the ads platform. Responsibilities include designing pricing and bidding mechanisms, developing scalable pricing systems, and partnering with Product and Data Science to define models and success metrics. The role also involves scaling the ads platform globally and establishing standardized frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy, operations, monetization, or ads, with a proven track record of owning ambiguous problems end-to-end and strong analytical skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and evolve pricing and bidding mechanisms
  2. Build frameworks that unify ads and promotions into a cohesive ecosystem
  3. Develop scalable pricing systems (e.g., dynamic pricing, reserve pricing, experimentation frameworks)
  4. Partner with Product and Data Science to define models, inputs, and success metrics
  5. Drive adoption and performance of monetization features across advertisers

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, monetization, or ads
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams
  • Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact problems end-to-end
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic level and dive deep into data and execution
