Strategy & Operations Senior Manager role focused on driving business decisions across post-purchase operations, logistics, payments, user experience, trust and fraud for a livestream shopping platform. Responsibilities include developing and implementing commerce strategies, managing cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements, analyzing commerce data, and negotiating vendor contracts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement commerce strategies that drive margin optimization and/or growth across the post-purchase experience
  2. Manage cross-functional commerce projects in close partnership with the product and engineering teams
  3. Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity/reduce costs
  4. Analyze commerce data to provide insights and recommendations
  5. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy and operations roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong understanding of commerce operations and process optimization
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Experience with SQL and analytics tools like Looker, Sigma, Hex
