Strategy & Planning Analyst, Uber Advertising

This role focuses on building and maintaining data products, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business reviews and operational workflows within Uber Advertising. It involves establishing data governance, scaling data infrastructure, enhancing data fluency across the organization, and enabling strategic planning through data insights. The role requires proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and ideally Python, with experience in data modeling and ETL processes being a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) as well as other critical operational workflows.
  2. Establish and enforce data definitions, KPIs, and governance practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust across the ad org.
  3. Partner with engineering and analytics teams to design systems that enable efficient data ingestion, transformation, and accessibility for the business.
  4. Develop frameworks, documentation, and training to increase data literacy across the advertising organization.
  5. Collaborate with strategy leaders to align data insights with business goals, investment decisions, and go-to-market strategies.
