What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and perform payload work at the subcomponent level to assure total compliance with structural integrity and requirements.
  2. Providing solution for an entire Boeing portfolio inside a problematic supplier
  3. Reviews and approves analysis.
  4. Guide a team of less experienced engineers.
  5. Work closely with Team manager and leads to assist other team members.

Skills

Required

  • 5 + years of experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis.
  • 5 + years of experience working on commercial or commercial derivative aircraft.
  • 3 + years of experience with 3D modeling, 2D drawings and drawing packages.
  • 3 + years of experience in aircraft structure, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Aerospace Engineering or Physics from an ABET accredited program.

Nice to have

  • Experience functioning as a Design Engineer (DE).
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Support System Analysis, Spares, Provisioning, Technical Data, Training, Maintenance/Modifications and Support Equipment.
  • 5+ year of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Ability to obtain LAE/DAE/DDE prior to assignment start.
  • 3+ years of experience functioning as a Design Approval Engineer (DAE).
