What you'd actually do

  1. Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering.
  2. Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives in accordance with MS&B and BDS business goals and objectives.
  3. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  4. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  5. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Skills

Required

  • leadership experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering related role

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • 10+ years of full-time aerospace industry experience within Mechanical, Structural, Payloads, Design or Analysis engineering
  • Experience using Boeing Common Non-Recurring Product Development (C-NRPD)
  • Experience in Model Based Engineering
  • Experience in talent development and talent acquisition
