Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman · Aerospace · Melbourne, FL +2 · Mechanical

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aircraft Loads Engineer to join their Vehicle Engineering team. The role involves performing analysis for flight loads, working with a team to resolve complex technical loads problems, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline, experience with aircraft loads, and an active Secret or higher clearance, with the ability to obtain a SAP clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. The team member will be expected to perform analysis for flight loads.
  2. Successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and will be proactive, forward-thinking, able to work with a small team to rapid resolution of complex technical loads problems and can convey complex technical problems diplomatically and professionally to both other engineering disciplines and leadership.
  3. The candidate will be able to work well in a team environment and form connections across the myriad of disciplines: including, but not limited to, flight controls, mass properties, stress, and mechanism teams.
  4. The ideal candidate would have experience working in the advanced development world and would understand the depth of analysis this environment requires.
