Intel is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and manage global supply chain operations, focusing on strategic sourcing decisions, supplier relationships, and ensuring sustainability, affordability, and resilience. The role involves developing commodity strategies, identifying and mitigating supply disruptions, negotiating contracts, and influencing supplier selection. The position requires expertise in supply line and capacity management, strategic supplier relationships in a fabless manufacturing environment, and proficiency in data analysis. A Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master's with 8+ years is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage strategic supplier relationships, collaborating with senior leaders to align priorities and drive shared business goals focusing on S and OE. Manage production schedules, urgent material procurement, logistical bottlenecks, and immediate inventory adjustments to ensure high customer service levels and rapid responsiveness.
  2. Develop, implement, and execute commodity strategies to support long-term growth and supply chain resilience. Oversee material procurement timing and distribution to meet immediate demand while maintaining line of sight on upcoming demand requirements.
  3. Identify disruptions in supply and drive action items to maintain, recover, and ensure upcoming supply health. Create robust negotiation strategies, leveraging industry benchmarking and market dynamics to achieve affordability and innovation targets.
  4. Influence supplier evaluation and selection, ensuring alignment with Intel's strategic needs across technology, cost, capacity, and sustainability goals.
  5. Anticipate business risks and lead mitigation strategies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness in delivery.
