What you'd actually do

  1. Supervises and coordinates the activities of a production line, prepares schedules, resolves problems, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
  2. Promotes an environment to generate ideas and leverage continuous improvement.
  3. Creates reports and records of production processes, tool performance, problems, and inventory; shares this information with managers and provides suggestions to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
  4. Prepares, maintains, and updates documentation related to operational procedures and safety and quality standards, ensuring that all processes and products meet the desired standards.
  5. Supervises and directs the daily activities of production line workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring employee safety, and monitoring their performance.
