Supervisor, Logistics - Data Center Operations

Supervise a team of hourly employees in a data center logistics operation, focusing on inventory management, customer service, safety, and continuous improvement. Requires leadership experience and a background in materials management or supply chain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage an hourly workforce by assessing employee performance, providing positive/constructive feedback, facilitating conflict resolution, and addressing repeat issues with corrective actions, performance improvement plans or through disciplinary means
  2. Lead by setting an example, taking feedback from all levels of the organization, and motivating your organization to achieve the highest level of results
  3. Monitor and improve operations, ensuring a safe work environment with the goal of zero OSHA recordable annually
  4. Manage the incoming acceptance, storing, and issuing of a wide variety of parts, details, and hardware into inventory
  5. Manage operations that provide industry leading levels of customer service in all operations: recognizing the needs of the business and adapting to support our mission

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing
  • 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing
  • Leadership experience

Nice to have

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP)/inventory management software
  • Experience with material requirements planning (MRP) systems
  • Experience using WarpDrive
  • Completion of a leadership or rotational development program
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
  • Lean/6-Sigma experience
  • Green/black belt certifications
  • Forklift operation
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
