Supervisor responsible for directing the manufacturing, assembly, fitting, testing, and shipping of core products and components in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Focuses on meeting production schedules, quality controls, and delivery dates, while analyzing cost and efficiency data for improvements. Manages multiple sections, leads continuous improvement initiatives, develops production plans, drives root cause analysis for losses (Safety, Quality, Production, Cost), and conducts audits on safety, 5S, quality, standardized work, productivity, and OEE.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gestionar múltiples secciones y reportar al gerente de la planta.
  2. Liderar el proceso de mejora continua, asegurando que se generen, desarrollen e implementen nuevas ideas y que se eliminen los obstáculos existentes
  3. Iniciar y dirigir diálogos sobre la mejora de los procesos con gerentes de sección, lideres de equipo y miembros del equipo
  4. Desarrollar planes de producción detallados a corto y largo plazo
  5. Impulsar el análisis de causa raíz y la resolución de problemas relacionados con todo tipo de perdidas (Seguridad, Calidad, Producción, Costo)

Skills

Required

  • University degree in Engineering (IMA, IIA, IMT, IMF or similar)
  • Knowledge of quality tools (Pareto, measurement equipment, A3 reports, FPY, PPM)
  • Knowledge of SAP (production module)
  • Detailed information gathering on machine downtime
  • Preparation of reports with graphs on production machine performance
  • Daily tracking of planned part numbers for production machines
  • Tracking of critical part numbers for shipment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to define problems, propose alternatives, and evaluate actions
  • Adaptability to changing environments
  • Quick adjustment to new tasks or teams
  • Willingness to receive feedback
