Stripe is seeking a Supplier Deal Manager to manage the supplier contracting process, reduce friction for business leaders, and minimize risk in partnership with legal and risk teams. The role involves reviewing use cases, preparing agreements for legal review, negotiating commercials, and managing engagements within procurement and contract lifecycle management systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Answer initial questions and educate DRIs on the overall risk assessment and supplier contracting process
  2. Conduct initial review of the DRI provided use case and appropriate contractual terms (or assemble Stripe templates) and prepare agreements for legal review according to defined guidelines when necessary
  3. Review and negotiate commercials in supplier agreements when needed
  4. Keep a close eye on productivity and communication with DRIs using our zip procurement tool
  5. Engage internal stakeholders (ie: Legal, Sourcing, Third Party Risk, and Stripe Buyers) to understand their needs and translate them into a risk-balanced approach to prepare contracts using training & existing frameworks
