What you'd actually do

  1. Work with suppliers to ensure robust process controls are in place to prevent nonconformities/defects.
  2. Monitor supplier’s key manufacturing processes, capacity, and quality management systems.
  3. Lead or support APQP activities for new product devolvement programs.
  4. Ensure supplier’s quality by conducting audits and assessments on incoming parts to identify any quality issues; develop supplier inspection plans, testing, and evaluation mechanisms.
  5. Research potential suppliers, assess their manufacturing environment, practices, and procedures; Conduct supplier quality control audits to ensure compliance with organizational and federal policies and standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Understanding of QCLDM/TCO
