Supplier Performance Manager - Switzerland

RTX is seeking a Supplier Performance Manager based in Bern, Switzerland, to manage and report on supplier performance, ensuring alignment with program requirements and business objectives. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing subcontractor relationships, and driving supplier development for a major supplier portfolio in the aerospace and defense sector. Requires a university degree, significant experience in leadership and supplier management, and an active US security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for the overall management and reporting of suppliers performance to support the program prime contract technical, financial, and performance requirements and Raytheon business objectives.
  2. Responsible for overall Subcontractor Performance to include Cost, Schedule, Technical, Quality and Delivery of all Line Items within the Purchase Order
  3. Provides program/IPTs clear line of sight to the ongoing performance of the Subcontractor in coordination with the SIPT
  4. Primary contact to the Subcontractor’s Program Manager and Leadership. Own the relationship with the subcontractor.
  5. Responsible for the Subcontractor management process including performance, SC metrics, international issues, and ensure customer flow through requirements are adequately performed.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree and a minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience successfully leading and managing with limited oversight, cross-functional teams at Supplier Site (International preferred, Domestic considered) and leading collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers.
  • Experience utilizing Master phasing schedules and Integrated Master Schedules and experience with Export/Import requirements and licensing.
  • U.S. Citizen

Nice to have

  • Experience collaborating with non-US customers or suppliers, with a demonstrated understanding of cultural nuances and differences
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams
  • PM, MPM, or SCM Certification (any level)
  • Experience using Product Data Management tools and MRP systems such as SAP / PRISM
  • Knowledge and experience working with FAR, DFAR, Export/Import requirements.
  • Prior international deployments
  • Basic German language skills
  • Highly organized in your management style and communications.
