Ford's Supplier Technologies team is developing a Contact Management Tool (CMT) to centralize fragmented supplier contact information across disparate legacy systems. This role will drive the product vision and roadmap, act as Product Owner for the development team, and ensure seamless integration and data accuracy to improve the supplier experience and streamline workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the product vision and roadmap.
  2. Act as the Product Owner for the development team.
  3. Write clear user stories, ruthlessly prioritize features based on business value, and officially evaluate and accept sprint deliverables.
  4. Map out downstream integrations to ensure CMT seamlessly feeds accurate data to legacy applications.
  5. Serve as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders (supply chain leaders, cross-functional subject matter experts, suppliers) and the software development team.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Supply Chain, Commodity/Program Management, or Supply Chain Consulting experience.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable software requirements.
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing changing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice to have

  • MBA or related advanced degree.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience in technology or management consulting.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Supplier Management technology.
  • Familiarity with Ford’s existing supplier and plant legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of database structures and cloud-based architecture (such as Google Cloud Platform / GCP).
  • Ability and willingness to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, data analysis, or product development.
  • Experience building and launching new applications from the ground up (0-to-1 product development).
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-ACP, or similar Agile certification.
  • Analytical skills with a passion for improving user experience and operational efficiency (Lean principles).
