Supply Chain Director

This role is for a Supply Chain Director at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for managing production personnel to maximize quality and output in a manufacturing operation. The director will be accountable for achieving production targets while maintaining cost controls, leading and directing the production operation, and collaborating with relevant departments to determine production goals. The role also involves establishing production priorities, reviewing manufacturing issues, monitoring production output, and ensuring awareness of safety and quality standards. The position requires understanding and implementing world-class manufacturing standards, managing capital goods improvements, ensuring new product introductions, and overseeing materials management and logistics. The director will also be responsible for cost control practices, product improvements based on client needs, and ensuring compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO standards. Leadership and training of the supply chain team, including career development and safety practices, are also key responsibilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Receives essentially administrative supervision, with assignments, objectives and deadlines given in general terms.
  2. Establishes operational goals and objectives in the same line and strategies of the corporation. Prepares programs for projects and coordinates activities to ensure achieving the specifications of the corporate goals and objectives.
  3. Provides a leadership role in the development and implementation of the world-class manufacturing standards (TAI, JAI, CFM).
  4. Maintains a link between the people around his/her organization, with the responsibility to act independently in techniques or issues related to his/her area.
  5. Implements “goal” systems and procedures to ensure that the equipment and machinery comply with the required operational performance and exploitation. Checks the machinery and equipment requirements based on the production programs.
