Supply Chain Engineer responsible for incorporating process and quality improvements in Intel's supply chain and logistics strategy, supporting product ramps by defining next-generation methodology capabilities, exploring emerging technology, and contributing to future technology definition. The role involves establishing control standards, monitoring KPIs, driving root cause analysis for supplier-related equipment installation and qualification, and managing supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield, and cost. Key responsibilities include owning CEID standard durations, tracking supplier performance, managing escalations, leading supplier management meetings, driving MQI activities, and owning strategic IQ labor planning.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engagement with the Area Coordinator (AC) on supplier-related tasks
  2. Own ROW 5 letter CEID standard durations for new tools across Tier 0, Tier 1, and Tier 2, ensuring alignment to established scheduling standards
  3. For reuse tools, duration validation and schedule accuracy
  4. Ensure suppliers complete the Vendor Information Form (VIF) and upload documentation no later than seven weeks prior to PFS; actively track PAS compliance
  5. Track supplier performance against SQ durations, including monitoring AIO start and finish accuracy in coordination with fab equipment coordinators

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Equipment expertise, Program Management, Starting-up, ramping, and/or sustaining equipment in the factory
  • Experience in installation and qualification of equipment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on competing priorities
  • Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a broad team

  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Understanding of foundry's factory ramp planning processes
  • Understanding of foundry's re-use business processes
