Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator (Level 2 or 3) to coordinate with Manufacturing to prioritize WIP, resolve constraints, perform SAP/MES transactions, investigate inventory discrepancies, and manage tooling. The role involves system transactions, inventory control, and logistical support for production.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate with Manufacturing to assist in prioritizing WIP to ensure contractual schedule dates are met.
  2. Utilize knowledge of production requirements to coordinate with other shop support teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, MRB, Industrial Engineering, Shipping, Distribution, etc.) to initiate actions to remove any constraints to production.
  3. Perform necessary SAP and MES system transactions to release work orders for Manufacturing, receive parts into inventory, close out manufacturing work orders, and issue parts up to next higher assemblies.
  4. Able to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies as they are brought to the attention of the team.
  5. Assists in determining possible and actual shortages may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience (Level 2) or 4 years (Level 3)
  • Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reach lift.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S Government Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access

Nice to have

  • Experience working in SAP
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience moving large items on Forklift
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Active DOD Secret level clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills dealing with customers and suppliers
