Meta is seeking an Operations Program Manager to drive build-to-order supply chain operations from early development through mass production. In this role, you will serve as the primary supply chain operations interface across cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance, as well as external contract manufacturers. You will own the on-site program execution for complex consumer hardware products, ensuring seamless execution of high-priority initiatives that directly influence the success of innovative products in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Own build-to-order supply chain operations of hardware programs at contract manufacturers, driving development through mass production and sustaining operations Define and manage the build-to-order engagement model between internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners (FATP/JDM/ODM/CM environments), clarifying roles, responsibilities, and deliverables at each program phase Drive supplier readiness activities including manufacturing line design, process qualification planning, capacity modeling, and capital expenditure planning ahead of development builds and ramp Lead on-site bring-up and integration activities at supplier facilities, coordinating with both internal engineering and external operations resources to resolve technical and process issues Assess, consolidate, and communicate program risk and status clearly and succinctly to leadership, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution at cross-functional reviews and executive forums Liaise across cross-functional teams to ensure product cost, manufacturability, reliability, product quality, and safety & compliance performance goals are met Identify early risks and constraints (supplier capability, process maturity, capacity, cost) and drive mitigation plans and decisions Drive strategic initiatives that improve how NPIs are executed, including standardization, operating cadence, readiness criteria, and lessons-learned reuse Contribute to team-level goals by developing scalable playbooks and mechanisms that reduce duplicated work and improve program execution efficiency across the hardware portfolio
