This role is for a Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Northrop Grumman, responsible for processing SAP transactions, investigating inventory discrepancies, creating shipping documentation, managing supplier inventories, and working with quality teams. The role also involves reporting on warehouse performance and acting as a focal point for MAKE MRP aspects of warehousing. It can be filled at Level 1 or Level 2 depending on qualifications, with a salary range provided for both.

What you'd actually do

  1. Processing various SAP transactions related to Goods Movement functions
  2. Systematic investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies
  3. Creation and processing of shipping documentation
  4. Processing of dropship and supplier managed inventories to reconcile the business system
  5. Working closely Supplier Quality, Receiving, and QA on Stock Purges and necessary product inspections

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 year’s experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4/6 years of related experience
  • Ability to work in MS 365, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • SAP or similar ERP knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain equipment licensing including but not limited to electric carts, forklift, reachlift
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance and a Program Special Access

Nice to have

  • Experience with MRP functions
  • Experience with leading a team
  • Experience with SAP for receiving, storing, and issuing materials
  • Experienced user of MS Office computer programs
