Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experience in supply chain management and related fields. Responsibilities include evaluating material requirements, financial planning (EACs, forecasting), presenting to decision-makers, planning program requirements, monitoring inventory, creating supply/demand strategies, solving supply chain problems, identifying risks/opportunities, evaluating suppliers, prioritizing efforts, managing budgets, and representing GSC on program contracts. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience with Earned Value Management, government procurement, and advanced Excel skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program.
  2. Financial responsibilities including EAC’s, material sales, material sales forecasting, and cost account management (CAM) support.
  3. Ability to present to internal and external decision-makers and represent Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain in Program Management Reviews, organization leadership briefings, customer briefings, and supplier engagement.
  4. Planning and coordinating program requirements.
  5. Monitoring and establishing material inventory.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of supply chain, program management and/or business management experience (or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Nice to have

  • Bachelors in supply chain or business management
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and Forecasting
  • General understanding of Government procurement processes and regulations; FAR/DFAR
  • Project/Program Management or Supply Chain Planning experience working on Aerospace and Defense programs
  • Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance
  • Experience supporting moderately complex proposal efforts
  • Expert MS Excel capability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting
