This role is for a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist at Northrop Grumman, focusing on procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services within the aerospace and defense industry. Responsibilities include developing RFQs, analyzing proposals, negotiating purchase orders, and managing supplier performance. It requires experience in supply chain or procurement within a manufacturing or aerospace environment, with preferred experience in SAP, regulated industries, and government contracting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develops RFQ utilizing Specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services.
  2. Prepares bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates PO provisions, administers resulting PO and ensure on time delivery.
  3. Manages performance of Purchase Orders and assigned suppliers, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
  4. Develops engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of supply chain, procurement and/or material planning experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
  • MS Office suite experience

Nice to have

  • SAP procurement systems
