This role is for a Supply Chain Subcontracts Administrator at Northrop Grumman, responsible for managing subcontracts from proposal to execution, including sourcing, contractual management, proposal analysis, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The position requires experience in government contracting and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Successful candidate will source and procures specialized goods and services
  2. Owns contractual management of the supplier
  3. Responsible for source selection from contract proposal to execution phases
  4. Coordinates and collaborates with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-users
  5. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in government contracting -OR- Master’s Degree and 3+ years of government contracting experience for a level 3
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in government contracting -OR- Master’s Degree and 6+ years of government contracting experience for a level 4
  • Familiar with FAR provisions and GSC policies and procedures
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance (US Citizenship Required)
  • Strong knowledge and proven historical performance of cradle to grave subcontract administration
  • Experience preparing subcontractor Request for Proposal (RFP) packages and supporting the NGC acquisition process
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings to leadership (internal/external)
  • Demonstrated skill and ability to perform professional tasks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Problem solving aptitude to develop solutions and drive resolution to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Ability to provide accurate supplier invoice and accrual forecasting
  • Ability and willingness to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
