Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a **Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1_ **to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in _Palmdale, CA.

- 1st shift, 4/10s schedule Monday – Thursday
- Position is in-office, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven problem solver with knowledge of Supply Chain processes in support of the Palmdale Machine Center and the Global Supply Chain team. In this role you will be working as a cross functional Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1, supporting shop floor, maintaining raw material and parts within SAP and MES systems. The GSC team works closely with AS Program Project Management teams, Procurement Specialist, and Suppliers to create Advanced Fabrication Requests. Daily processes will include but not limited to; Advanced Purchase Requests, Transportation Requests, Make and Buy goods issue and receipts, Wrap and Pack, verifying material specifications, certifications of conformance and requirements, and will need a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical requirements.
Essential Functions:
· Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
· Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
· Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
· Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
· Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand
· Works closely with the Integration team and shop floor.
· Delivers kits and chemicals and verifies quantities and part numbers.
· Wraps and packs kits to send to on and offsite locations.
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to obtain forklift certification.
· Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
· Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to obtain / maintain U.S Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting).
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack.
· Prior experience using SAP/ MES.
· Hazmat or chemical handling experience.
· Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Primary Level Salary Range: $19.09 - $31.78
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
