This role is a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator responsible for supporting various activities within the supply chain process, including loading, unloading, conveying, and packing materials. It involves working closely with the integration team and shop floor, delivering kits, and verifying quantities and part numbers. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Level Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  2. Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
  3. Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
  4. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
  5. Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control (for Level 2)
  • 4 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing and/or inventory control (for Level 3)
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one

Nice to have

  • Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack
  • Prior experience using SAP/ MES
  • Hazmat or chemical handling experience
  • Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing
  • Active DoD Special Program Access

What the JD emphasized

  • Ability to obtain a U.S Government Secret Level Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting).
