Supply Chain Planning Analyst responsible for facility performance targets related to inventory reduction, inventory turns, and order-to-delivery results. This role involves developing and implementing the Plan for Every Part and Pull material Replenishment methods, analyzing supplier performance, and creating material flow plans. Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with experience in lean concepts and supply chain systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.
  2. The incumbent is a key team member deploying the Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the Plan for Every Part and Pull Replenishment methods for a facility.
  3. Incumbent is required to work effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams in order to apply the supply chain planning process and lead team efforts to develop lean material flow plans for a facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout and material presentation at the point of use.
  4. Incumbent gathers and analyzes data on facility demand and demand variability for each part required for production based on daily demand buckets for 120 work days.
  5. This position develops material flow plans for all material coming into a facility for production.

Skills

Required

  • Experience and knowledge of complex lean concepts and tools
  • Experience and knowledge about CPS supply chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes, Supply Chain Planning analytical tools, material flow and throughput efficiency
  • Strong understanding of common supply chain systems.
  • Knowledge of and / or experience deploying using 6Sigma Project Management principles.
  • College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • Experience with the CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process
  • Minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible supply chain job experience
  • Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes

Nice to have

  • APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired.
  • Previous experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst or Engineer desired
  • A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.
