Support Engineer - US Government

This role is a Support Engineer for Palantir's US Government clients, focusing on hardware and software support, troubleshooting, and automation of IT issues. It involves onboarding users, providing Tier 1 and 2 support, managing IT infrastructure components, and ensuring information assurance compliance. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and proficiency in scripting for automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Onboard new users and provide end user support.
  2. Provide excellent customer service, Tier 1 and 2 support for all technologies (Windows desktop/server, Linux, VOIP, VTC, etc.).
  3. Support the day-to-day technical and logistical operations of our facilities and participate in an on-call rotation.
  4. Work with and manage Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
  5. Ensure compliance of current Information Assurance (IA) policies.

Skills

Required

  • Hands-on experience with Windows user support
  • Coding/scripting proficiency in at least one language
  • Ability to approach problems with creativity and flexibility, while working against deadlines
  • Active US DoD Secret or higher Security Clearance
  • Able to lift 30 pounds and be on your feet for up to 8 hours per day
  • Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level I requirements
