What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the SLO team in maximizing operational availability and minimizing life cycle costs of Boeing products with low observable design features
  2. Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various products
  3. Develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
  4. Validate designs through various methods of review, testing, and analysis
  5. Implement supportability guidelines early in platform design

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9+ years of experience working with Low Observable (LO) Engineering Processes
  • Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access (U.S. Only Citizenship Required)

Nice to have

  • 9+ years of experience in reliability and maintainability, product support, or materials & processes engineering
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques for effective communication of results
  • Experience in technical writing and documentation for engineering specifications and reports
