Sys/test Validation Engineer 2

AMD AMD · Semiconductors · Taipei, Taiwan · Engineering

This role is for a Systems Test Validation Engineer focused on server BIOS and BMC validation for L10-level system qualification. The engineer will execute test cases, verify BIOS/BMC functionality, identify, reproduce, and debug firmware-related issues, and work with development teams to resolve them before release. The role involves platform-level debug tools and system environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute system‑level test cases to validate server BIOS and BMC functionality
  2. Validate BIOS and BMC behavior across boot, power, reset, and management flows on server platforms
  3. Analyze, reproduce, and document system‑level failures found during L10 validation
  4. Work with firmware developers, hardware developers, and board design teams to debug and resolve BIOS/BMC issues
  5. Support improvements to L10 validation coverage and test procedures based on defect findings
