This role focuses on developing and validating AI agent systems, specifically an AI-driven testing framework for post-silicon features on AMD client products. Responsibilities include building AI agent applications, developing custom AI skills, and collaborating on AI output validation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure (software, hardware, automation environment, and lab setup)
  2. Be able to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment with lots of real-time problem solving and critical thinking
  3. Develop agentic farm loop(AI-driven testing framework) to improve productivity across system solution validation workflows
  4. Collaborate with validation and debug engineers to validate AI outputs against real data, handle edge cases, and iteratively improve robustness
  5. Take ownership of delivered solutions, ensuring correctness, maintainability, and measurable productivity impact

Skills

Required

  • Knowledge of AI agent systems and best practices, including agent architecture/loops, RAG (embeddings, chunking, retrieval), tool/function calling, skill/plugin design, MCP-based tool integration, and context/memory management.
  • Experience building an AI agent application (e.g., chatbot/assistant), including RAG, tool calling, skill/plugin-style capability routing, and MCP-based integrations.
  • Experience developing custom AI skills or tools that encapsulate domain logic and can be reliably reused within an agent.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and quickly adopt new AI technologies, with a fast-learning mindset and willingness to continuously update approaches as the AI ecosystem evolves.
  • Solid engineering judgment and ownership mindset
