System Administrator responsible for defining, designing, and implementing network communications and solutions, performing performance trend analysis, managing server/network capacity, and troubleshooting system issues using automation and monitoring tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.
  2. Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity.
  3. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate.
  4. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system.
  5. Responsible for support documentation as well.
