System Administrator responsible for defining, designing, and implementing network communications and solutions, improving system performance and reliability, managing data communication processors, and coordinating network infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.
  2. Responsible for creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
  3. Manage the load configurations of a central data communication processor and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks.
  4. Coordinate terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing.
  5. Approves action requests and specifies purchase requisitions.
  6. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers.
