System Security Engineer, Program Protection

This role is for a System Security Engineer focused on Program Protection for defense technology company Anduril's autonomous systems. The engineer will integrate Systems Security Engineering processes, champion system security architecture, design security features, consult on engineering architectures, identify cyber risks, develop and execute system security tests, and support technical work products and milestone deliveries. The role requires experience in Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields, with a proven track record in Program Protection, Software Security, and Anti-Tamper Engineering. Experience with cyber documentation, Supply Chain Risk Management, and embedded security on DoD programs is also required. A U.S. Secret security clearance with SAP eligibility is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Integrate holistic Systems Security Engineering processes to prevent, mitigate, and recover from cyberattacks that employ advanced adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)
  2. Champion system security architecture development and requirements derivation, decomposition, and flow down for Anduril products with varying levels of system design maturity
  3. Design system and solution features with engineering teams to meet and exceed industry-standard security goals
  4. Consult on software, RF and electrical engineering architectures, features, and implementations.
  5. Identify and prioritize mission-based cyber risks, translating complex threat landscapes into actionable engineering decisions
