What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy systems, ensuring maximum efficiency in their use.
  2. Participate in client-prioritized projects as an Oracle Applications Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  3. Respond to user support requests in a timely manner to meet SLA obligations.
  4. Test and coordinate testing for new releases of Oracle Applications.
  5. Log application bugs and follow up with IT and Development teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Electrical Engineering, Health Care, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience
  • device management/integration work experience
  • reside in or around the Columbia, MO area
  • willing to travel to the client site as needed
  • willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures
  • understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets
  • take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy systems
  • Participate in client-prioritized projects as an Oracle Applications Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Respond to user support requests in a timely manner to meet SLA obligations
  • Test and coordinate testing for new releases of Oracle Applications
  • Log application bugs and follow up with IT and Development teams
  • Monitor upcoming application releases
  • Train users and other team members on application features
  • Maintain application responsibilities based on the user’s work group
  • Serve as a reporting resource
  • Represent users at Data Center meetings, quarterly user meetings, and as needed
  • participation in an on-call rotation
  • provide after-hours support for urgent issues, system outages, or critical deployment needs
  • available to respond to and resolve issues promptly during assigned on-call periods
  • On-call support may require trips onsite to the client during irregular hours

Nice to have
