This role involves deploying integrated technology solutions for Oracle clients, including hardware, software, and services. Responsibilities include building client relationships, consulting on technical architecture, managing deployments, troubleshooting issues, and training clients and team members. The role requires supporting Oracle Applications and legacy systems, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), responding to support requests within SLA, testing new releases, logging bugs, monitoring releases, and maintaining application responsibilities. It also involves on-call rotation for after-hours support and potential travel to client sites.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy systems, ensuring maximum efficiency in their use.
  2. Participate in client-prioritized projects as an Oracle Applications Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  3. Respond to user support requests in a timely manner to meet SLA obligations.
  4. Test and coordinate testing for new releases of Oracle Applications.
  5. Log application bugs and follow up with IT and Development teams.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Business, Electrical Engineering, Health Care, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Ability to reside in or around the Jefferson City, MO area
  • Willingness to travel to the client site as needed
  • Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Ability to work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets
  • Ability to take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Experience supporting Oracle Applications and legacy systems
  • Experience as an Oracle Applications Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Experience responding to user support requests within SLA obligations
  • Experience testing new releases of Oracle Applications
  • Experience logging application bugs and following up with IT and Development teams
  • Experience monitoring upcoming application releases
  • Experience maintaining application responsibilities based on user's work group
  • Experience serving as a reporting resource
  • Experience representing users at Data Center meetings, quarterly user meetings, and as needed
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to provide after-hours support for urgent issues, system outages, or critical deployment needs
  • Ability to respond to and resolve issues promptly during assigned on-call periods
  • Ability to make trips onsite to the client during irregular hours

Nice to have

  • 1 year of Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience
