Systems Design Engineer responsible for post-silicon validation and debug of AMD Embedded products, including system and silicon level failures. Requires identifying, isolating, and debugging hardware and firmware issues using lab tools and scripting for automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, isolate, and debug hardware and firmware issues using tools like Scan dump, Trace Tools, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
  2. Create and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks for regression and stress testing
  3. Analyze silicon behavior and correlate with pre-silicon models and simulations
  4. Document validation results, debug findings, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
  5. Supporting bring-up activities and contribute to platform stability and readiness
