Systems Design Engineer - Memory Enablement

AMD AMD · Semiconductors · Bangalore, India · Engineering

Systems Design Engineer focused on memory enablement in a post-silicon x86 environment. Responsibilities include implementing memory subsystems, conducting experiments for memory enablement, maintaining test plans and reports, and developing test scripts. Requires strong understanding of memory subsystems, DDR5/LPDDR5, and x86 hardware/firmware/BIOS architecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Owning memory sub system implementation based on the Product requirements
  2. Conducting day-to-day experiments for Memory enablement
  3. Maintaining Test plans and reports and scrubbing the JIRA tickets on a periodic basis
  4. Developing required test scripts for small tasks
  5. Problem solving - the successful candidate loves debugging complex problems and has a track record of doing so

Skills

Required

  • Memory enablement experience
  • Memory Subsystem understanding
  • DDR5/LPDDR5
  • x86 HW, FW and BIOS Architecture
