This role involves supporting and maintaining software solutions for a large Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) enterprise, focusing on integrating and developing higher-level software systems that connect low-level automation systems with the cloud. The role will leverage Machine Learning and Big Data for predictive actions to prevent downtime and improve equipment effectiveness. The primary responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying new software, systems, infrastructure, networking, or automation improvements, with a focus on AWS and field-deployed infrastructures.

What you'd actually do

  1. designing, developing, testing, and deploying new software, systems, infrastructure, networking or automation improvements, with a focus on CE Team infrastructures deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and in the field.

  4. You maintain SLA’s through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

  • Experience with distributed systems at scale
  • Experience building services using AWS products
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Knowledge of a front-end language (Javascript, CSS, HTML, etc.)
