Systems Engineer, Battlespace

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Broomfield, CO · Mission Systems : Battlespace Awareness Engineering

Systems Engineer role focused on the design, development, and validation of advanced algorithmic capabilities for defense technology, including tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting. The role involves integrating emerging capabilities into products, leading requirements decomposition, developing test plans, and using data-driven analysis to ensure customer requirements are met. It requires ownership of systems end-to-end, with a strong emphasis on modeling and simulation, AI/ML, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will develop and implement sophisticated modeling and simulation frameworks to validate algorithmic performance, test system capabilities under various scenarios, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement
  2. Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success in the face of ambiguity.
  3. Responsible for scoping ideal system laydown, scrutinizing system performance, and ensuring the deployed system is meeting customer requirements.
  4. Own systems end to end with the ability to identify and solve problems between the seams and push through to reach an ultimate outcome.
