Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a Systems Engineer (Experienced or Lead) in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves system requirements development, decomposition, allocation, logical and functional decomposition/analysis, architecture, design, synthesis, verification, and validation. Responsibilities include supporting FAA and Military Certification, system analysis, project engineering, leading cross-functional teams, developing SEIT products, collaborating with customers, and mentoring. Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering Tools is required, and aircraft system/domain knowledge is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience are required, with 5+ years preferred. The position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • Experience in System Architecture Development and Modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody)
  • Experience in Requirements Management and tools (i.e. IBM DOORs)
  • Experience in verification & validation of requirements
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables
  • Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership.
  • Experience in ICD development, logical architecture, requirements development, specification development, system functions and SSOW development
  • Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management
  • Experience project engineering and executing system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
  • Experience in systems integration and test including lab integration, ground test, and flight test
  • Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military)
  • INCOSE Certification
  • Aircraft system and/or domain knowledge in the following areas is preferred: MIL Radio, Mil Nav, Mission System, Networking, Cabin Systems, IFE and Classified Processing, 787 Common Core Avionics, 777-300 AIMS/Avionics, 737-MAX 8/9/10 Avionics, LAIRCM, RWR, CMDS, Airworthiness, avionics interface / mnemonics (ARINC 429), MIL-STD 1553.
