RTX RTX · Aerospace · tucson, AZ +1 · Engineering

Systems Engineer II - Signal Processing role at RTX, focusing on the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of radio frequency (RF) or electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) algorithms and models for missile systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM, 2+ years of experience, C programming or OOP experience, and an interim Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will act as an established and productive professional with theoretical to advanced knowledge of signal processing to support development, execution, and completion of difficult and sometimes complex missile systems program objectives.
  2. You will use and modify simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of signal processing algorithms and models.
  3. You will participate in engineering lab environments to test, verify, and validate sensor models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements.
  4. You will focus on integration of algorithms into hardware and collaborate in all development phases from program start-up to live-fire testing, supporting design reviews, peer reviews, and technical briefings to parties within and outside your own discipline.
