Systems Engineer II – Simulation Integration and Test

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to the successful technical execution of complex integration and test events
  2. Perform daily test execution and troubleshooting activities within an engineering laboratory environment
  3. Use working knowledge of software programming to support complex software and hardware integration testing and troubleshooting
  4. Develop expertise in program-specific hardware and software interfaces
  5. Support continuous improvement by identifying and resolving software and hardware issues, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken

Skills

Required

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, Python, and/or FORTRAN 77
  • Experience with Linux and/or UNIX

Nice to have

  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting issues with hardware, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken
  • Experience with radar systems or complex military systems
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal, and written
  • Experience with instrumentation and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer)
