Systems Engineer role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining HR systems like Workday, Greenhouse, and Lattice. What you'd actually do

  1. Design, implement, and configure HR systems, including Workday HCM (Human Capital Management, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits), Payroll, and other related platforms.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to drive system enhancements and process automation.
  3. Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  4. Manage Workday security roles, user permissions, and compliance configurations.
  5. Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems
  • Hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits and Payroll
  • Experience with Workday reporting, security, business processes, and integrations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with EIBs, Calculated Fields, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Experience participating in system implementations, enhancements, or optimization initiatives
  • Experience with HRIS governance, SOX controls, or automation tools
