Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) seeks a Systems Engineering & Integration Lead for the Global Positioning System (GPS) IIF program. This role involves leading a team to manage program-wide Systems Engineering and Integration, ensuring enterprise and system requirements are met, coordinating with government and external companies, and managing program processes. The position requires experience in systems engineering, integration, testing, and requirements management, with a preference for GPS systems experience and Project Management skills. The role is focused on a mature, established defense program.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a small team that manages program-wide Systems Engineering and Integration. Task, train, and motivate team members, run program-level meetings such as the Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO) board, and ensure enterprise and system requirements are met across the GPS IIF program.
  2. Work with GPS Program Manager, GPS Chief Engineer, and customers.
  3. Ensure team manages GPS IIF requirements documents, engineering specifications, and the Orbital Operations Handbook, and tracks and evaluates GPS enterprise-level Requests for Changes, engineering impact assessments, management and upkeep of various tools and applications.
  4. Ensure team coordinates with Government and external companies for the existing and new GPS control segments.
  5. Develop and maintain program and IPT-level processes.
