What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a team of systems engineers performing direct work on multiple programs
  2. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  3. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  4. Perform technical planning, modeling and simulation, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
  5. Oversee and manage the quality and timeliness of the organization’s products, and identification and remediation of potential issues before they become problems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or a PhD with 0 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S Citizenship is required.
  • A current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Systems Engineering development lifecycle
  • Experience with people management
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining customer and/or program communications.
