This role focuses on integrating hardware and software components for automated driving systems, involving data analysis, dashboard creation, and root-cause analysis of system-level issues. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prototype tools, and leverage automation and AI to enhance development efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components on various vehicle platforms
  2. Be able to support data analysis using Python, create dashboards and and characterize driving behavior based off of data
  3. Approach problem solving with a data driven approach
  4. Deep-dive into vehicle log data and source code if required to root-cause system-level issues and facilitate rapid issue resolution in collaboration with domain experts
  5. Work with perception, planning and systems teams to bring various automated driving systems components together

Skills

Required

  • Proficiency with GIT and software repo management tools
  • Experience building dashboards
  • scripting in Python
  • B.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of automotive hardware and software development concepts including continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) software development models
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
  • Clean driving record with professional experience driving prototype test-vehicles in test-tracks

Nice to have

  • Prior experience and passion for ADAS system control development
  • Experience in chassis control or vehicle dynamics development preferred
