Boeing is hiring Systems Integration Engineers for their 787 program. The role involves supporting the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of 787 aircraft, focusing on multisystem projects and resolving fleet issues. Responsibilities include working with various airplane systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing systems engineering best practices, and managing projects. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of systems engineering or integration experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports cross-functional teams through the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects
  2. Work with multiple airplane systems including Environmental Controls Systems, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, Network Systems, Avionics Systems, and Cyber Security and will lead these teams through a variety of complex projects
  3. Collaborate with airplane safety, regulatory administration, and various 787 program teams such as change management, supply chain, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and delivery centers
  4. Implements systems engineering best practices, and process improvements
  5. Working knowledge of the aircraft certification process

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 2+ years of experience performing complex systems engineering or system integration work
  • 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry
  • Experience working with and collaborating with executive leadership
  • Experience supporting production and factory
  • Experience supporting airline customers
