Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman · Aerospace · Palmdale, CA +2 · Systems/Architecture/Test

Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of physics-based, real-time engineering simulations in support of Operator-In-The-Loop (OITL) mission simulations, including sensor/payload operations and Electronic Warfare effects. The role involves modeling operational environments, performing trade studies via computer simulation, and recommending alternative architectures using C#/C++, JAVA, or other Object Oriented programming languages. Experience with modeling of Radars, Missiles, IADS, or Air/Space platforms, Electronic Warfare, or Red/Blue CONOPs/TTPs is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will model operational environments, perform trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures.
  2. Responsible for the design, development, integration, and test of physics-based, real-time engineering simulations in support of Operator-In-The-Loop (OITL) mission simulations.
  3. Integrate, and use advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
  4. Create and apply knowledge of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to support blue/red kill chains across multiple security environments, programs, architectures, and platforms
  5. Provide blue/red tactics and CONOPS modeling, simulation, and analysis in mission-level models to help accomplish long-term objectives related to program development, execution, and related research and development projects.
