Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Integration & Test Engineers (Level 2 or Level 3) to support test and verification of RF sensor systems. Responsibilities include hands-on integration and testing of hardware and software, developing test plans and procedures, analyzing test results, and using modeling and simulation tools. Requires a STEM degree, active DoD Secret clearance, experience with RF lab equipment, troubleshooting HW/SW/FW integration issues, and coding in MATLAB. Experience with system bench testing, acceptance test plans, test reports, environmental/EMI/EMC testing, and willingness to work 2nd shift are also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Integration, troubleshooting, and testing RF sensor systems
  2. Support integration environment development and establishment (Labs)
  3. Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to understand expected unit level and system level behavior to define test cases and define & develop test capabilities that exercise and stress respective software and hardware capabilities.
  4. Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware subject matter experts to ensure testing produces expected data points.
  5. Support the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plans.

Skills

Required

  • STEM degree
  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • Experience coding in MATLAB
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Experience working a system bench, running acceptance test plans, writing test reports, troubleshooting hardware and software, communicating status updates.
  • Experience with Environmental, EMI/EMC integration and testing
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift work
  • Ability to work onsite full-time
