T-38c Avionics Field Service Representative

Boeing is seeking a T-38C Avionics Field Service Representative to provide avionics maintenance technical support for the T-38C AVCI equipment. Responsibilities include conducting training, supporting upgrade teams, managing the IMIS process, and interfacing with various stakeholders. The role requires extensive experience with military avionics and aircraft systems, interpreting technical documentation, and willingness to travel and relocate. This is an onsite, union-represented position requiring US Person status for export control compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide technical support and investigation of unusual or recurring problems involving T-38C avionics
  2. Assist the on-site customer in detecting technical deficiencies
  3. Consult with and assist the Government in development of technical solutions to remedy difficult avionics maintenance problems
  4. Provide training to unit-level avionics maintenance personnel regarding system changes or updates whether requested by the Government or driven by safety matters
  5. Provide avionics familiarization training as requested to Government personnel

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience with military avionics and/or aircraft systems
  • Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical orders
  • willingness to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international)
  • willingness to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international)
  • US Person status

Nice to have

  • Associate Degree or higher in Aircraft Avionics or Electrical Systems
  • Aircraft maintenance training instructor experience
  • Experience in on-aircraft troubleshooting and repair of wiring, removal and replacement of switches, lamps, circuit breakers, and Line Replaceable Units
